Service providers
Subprocessors
Scroller, Inc. uses service providers to operate Scroller, process email, secure infrastructure, and provide support.
Current providers
- DigitalOcean: cloud application, database, queue, and network infrastructure used to store and process connected-account and synchronized email data.
- Google: OAuth authorization and Gmail APIs used to connect accounts, retrieve mail, search, send messages, and perform user-requested mailbox actions.
- Microsoft: OAuth authorization and Microsoft Graph used to connect Outlook accounts, retrieve mail, search, send messages, and perform user-requested mailbox actions.
- OpenAI: AI processing of limited sender information, subjects, message text, user questions, semantic search inputs, and derived context for summaries, rewritten subjects, classifications, grounded answers with source references, and related user-facing features. Scroller does not opt in to using API inputs or outputs to train OpenAI models.

Microsoft data restrictions
Scroller and its providers process Microsoft mailbox data only to provide and secure user-requested Scroller features, subject to Scroller's Privacy Policy and Microsoft's platform requirements. Scroller does not sell Microsoft mailbox data or transfer it to advertisers or data brokers.
