Account and data controls
Data Deletion
You can delete your Scroller account and stored app data. Deleting Scroller data does not delete messages from your Gmail mailbox unless you separately use Gmail or Scroller mail actions to delete those messages.
Delete in the app
Open Scroller settings, go to account settings, and choose the delete account or delete data option when it is available in your app version.
Delete by email request
Email privacy@scroller.ai from the email address connected to Scroller and request account or data deletion. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.
Revoke Gmail access
You can revoke Scroller's Google access from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access stops future Gmail syncing, but you should also request deletion if you want stored Scroller app data deleted.
What is deleted
- Scroller account records and connected account records.
- Stored summaries, rewritten subjects, sender settings, ignored senders, summary rules, and app preferences.
- Stored message metadata and cached content held by Scroller, subject to legal, security, abuse-prevention, backup, and operational retention needs.
